Any chance of a SOTA activation from Malabar Hill (SOTA refernece VK9/LH-004) in someone's >>spare time<< 45 mins before sunset usually gives long path contacts into EU for an hour or so. Malabar is reachable from Neds Beach Road or if you are staying at Ocean View Lodge - it's up the track out of the back of the property. About 45 mins walk using either path, over Neds Beach Common and Pooles lookout.
