I set my alarm for 0300 local, made myself a cup of instant coffee and went to the shack. I found the quite readable ZL8X signal at 1826.5 and listened as the op worked one JA after another. I called three or four times with my 100w and was rewarded with a QSO. My amp is broken at the moment!
